Job Title: Oracle Data Analyst (OTBI + BIP) with Oracle HCM
Location: Remote (USA)
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst specializing in OTBI, BIP, and Oracle HCM to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle HCM Cloud, advanced reporting with OTBI and BIP, and experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). This role is critical in providing data-driven insights and improving business processes by delivering sophisticated reports and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for enhancing reporting, integration, and analytics capabilities to support HR and business decision-making.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• OTBI & BIP Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), focusing on critical Oracle HCM data such as talent management, payroll, performance, compensation, and workforce analytics.
• Advanced Analytics with OAC: Use Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to create dynamic visualizations, business intelligence dashboards, and reports that enhance the accessibility of data and provide actionable insights from Oracle HCM data.
• Fusion Data Intelligence: Leverage Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) tools for HCM data integration, transformation, and reporting. Ensure seamless data flow from Oracle Fusion systems to reporting tools for better business intelligence.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Utilize data integration techniques to ensure smooth and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, optimizing the integration of HCM data into reporting systems.
• Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Implement robust data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards. Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies related to Oracle HCM, OTBI, BIP, and OAC.
• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and document detailed reporting requirements. Ensure that the developed reports align with business goals and objectives, addressing the needs of various departments.
• End-User Support & Training: Provide end-user training and ongoing support for OTBI, BIP, OAC, and FDI tools. Help users interpret reports, generate data insights, and troubleshoot any issues they encounter in report generation.
• System Maintenance & Optimization: Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations related to Oracle HCM, OTBI, BIP, and OAC. Proactively identify opportunities for improving reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Security and Access Control: Ensure that sensitive data is secured by implementing and managing proper security measures and access controls in the reporting tools. Ensure users have appropriate access based on their roles.

 
Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, OTBI, and BIP for reporting and analytics.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with OTBI and BIP, specifically for Oracle HCM data reporting.
• Strong experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to create data visualizations and dashboards.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) for data integration and transformation is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and experience with Oracle HCM data models.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
• Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to business users.
• Experience in data visualization and presenting complex analytics in a user-friendly format.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud or other Oracle Cloud services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
