Job Title: Lead Data Modeler
Location: TCS – Iselin, NJ (Zarepath, NJ)
Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Data Modeler with extensive experience in data concepts, architecture, and modeling to drive data modeling initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models in both Third Normal Form (3NF) and Dimensional Form.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Create comprehensive data mapping and dictionaries to support data management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective models.
- Utilize SQL and ER Studio for data manipulation and visualization.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in data modeling and architecture.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in data modeling techniques: Third Normal Form (3NF) and Dimensional Form.
- Strong data profiling and data analysis skills.
- Experience in creating and maintaining data mapping and dictionaries.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing databases.
- Familiarity with ER Studio for data modeling.
Desirable Skills:
- Additional experience in data modeling methodologies.
- Familiarity with data governance and management frameworks.
