Looking for a Senior Application Integration Consultant to lead the migration of its enterprise integration platform from the on-premise Oracle SOA suite to an Azure Cloud solution. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional who will oversee the entire migration process and offer expert consulting solutions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of enterprise integration platforms from Oracle SOA Suite to Azure Cloud.
- Provide expert consultation on application integration technologies.
- Implement projects using integration platforms like Oracle SOA, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud-based solutions.
- Develop processes and plans for incremental migrations of services and scripts from the current environment to the cloud.
- Evaluate applications, define domains, trace and mitigate dependencies, and create solution architectures for cloud migration.
- Collaborate with technical team members to analyze and document the existing architecture, functionality, and dependencies of various applications.
- Evaluate options, formulate solutions, assess feasibility, determine cost models, develop timelines, and align with functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into high-level technical architectures.
- Demonstrate strong design and troubleshooting skills across multiple web service protocols, programming languages, security, development methodologies, and governance.
- Develop and enhance enterprise and custom connectors.
- Work with enterprise platforms for CRM, HR, Procurement, and Finance to perform new integrations and modify existing ones.
- Manage and complete multiple high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Required:
- 20+ years of expertise in Software Engineering and Application Integration.
- 16+ years of experience with Web Services/Messaging: XML, REST, API development, ITIL processes, and SOA Governance.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud integration platforms like Oracle, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud-based solutions.
- 5+ years of programming experience with languages such as Java, .NET, Python.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise connectors and developing custom connectors.
- 5+ years of experience migrating APIs from traditional applications to cloud platforms.
- 4+ years of experience with Unix, Red Hat Linux, Shells.
- 6+ years of experience with protocols such as FTP/SFTP/FTPS/PGP/GPG.
- 2+ years of experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12C.
- 2+ years of experience with middleware components and concepts such as BPEL, BAM, ESB, WSM, and Rules Engines.
- 16+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile and Waterfall.
- 16+ years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation from internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to build relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
Highly Desired:
- 10+ years of experience with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, SAP ARIBA, Box, Oracle ERP.
- Proficient with Microsoft Azure Logic Apps.
- 2+ years of experience with development and concepts of MicroServices.
- Education or certification in Microsoft Azure platform architecture and development tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred).
