NOTE (FOR RECRUITERS):

  • Only currently local candidates (within a commutable distance of 1.5 hours max) will be considered. Hiring manager is not interested in candidates who would need to relocate to accept role.
  • Position will be hybrid, onsite 2 days a week. NO remote only option.
  • Interview Process: Onsite interviews to be requested with any potential 2nd rounds to be held in person. Candidates submitted must be willing to come onsite for an interview at the Lansing office. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any confirmed interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of any virtual interviews to validate candidate. 

Rate: $50-55/hr on W2 OR 60-65/hr on C2C

Title: SalesForce Developer

Location: Lansing, MI

Hybrid – 2 days onsite from day 1

Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience using Force.com platform’s out-of-the-box functionalities and customize the application based on Apex coding or configurations.
  • 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Weight Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform
  • 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud.
  • 3+ years of Apex API Integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps Tools
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certification Preferred

Job Description

  • SalesForce Developer will be responsible for  development, design, and implementation of customizable solutions within Salesforce based on CRM needs.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
  • Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
  • Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.
  • Collaborating with Developers for other systems to integrate across the business.
  • Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
  • Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience using Force.com platform’s out-of-the-box functionalities and customize the application based on Apex coding or configurations.

  • Other experience that would be beneficial but not strictly required
  • Experience with governmental processes and procedures relating to compliance
