Position: Java Developer
Location: TCS – Sunnyvale, San Jose, CA, United States
Role Description:
The Java Developer will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining software solutions using Java and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and experience working with large engineering environments. They will also be expected to coordinate across multiple teams and present technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in:
- Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript (JS), Python
- Databases: SQL (PL/SQL preferred)
- Data Quality Tools: Informatica Address Doctor or equivalent (highly preferred)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong skills in complex technical problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Systems & Architecture:
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures.
- Cross-Team Coordination:
- Experience working across multiple teams and leading large, organization-wide projects.
- Communication to Non-Technical Audiences:
- Ability to present complex technical problems in simple terms.
Competencies:
- Programming Languages: Core Java, Python, PL/SQL
- Tools: Informatica Address Doctor (or equivalent)
