Role: Quality Engineering Lead

Location : Mountain View, CA (on Site) local to CA only
Duration : 9 Month Contract
Top 3 Skill Sets:
In-depth knowledge of processor instruction set architecture and microarchitecture, with hands-on experience in HW/SW test engineering. Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Swift, or JavaScript, alongside Unix and Unix shell scripting. Ability to solve hardware systems at the component level and perform root-cause analysis.
Education Requirements:
- Required: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred: MSc or higher.
Years of Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and monitor stability tests focusing on hardware-centric software risks. Manage multiple systems running automated stress and stability hardware-centric software tests. Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to identify risk areas and provide testing solutions. Debug and analyze performance issues, isolating bugs using debugging tools. Report issues per client-specific bug reporting protocols. Train and mentor team members, sharing expertise in relevant technical areas.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Tableau for data visualization and presenting to senior management.
- Familiarity with factory processes like burn-in qualification.
- Expertise in advanced Python scripting and reporting tool development.
