Job Title: NX/ Unigraphics Designer
Location : Detroit, MI (Onsite)
Duration: 9-12 Months Contract
Job Description:
- Job functions include but are not limited to:Daily use of NX CAD to study and make designs, present proposals and release new or improved designs
- Warranty reduction using root cause analysis techniques
- Variation and tolerance analysis at both component and system level
- Make presentations of ideas and studies to upper management
- Manage suppliers to develop parts, and meet cost, timing, and quality targets
- Manage cost and weight of assigned parts to meet or exceed targets
- Mentor Jr. Engineers in support of project KPIs
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
