Job Title: Business Analyst (Oil and Gas industry mandatory) Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Responsibilities:
·Utilize multiple methods to gather, develop, and document requirements for various projects.
·Review, assess, and develop business processes to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
·Create and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet user requirements.
·Provide research and support for special projects assigned by users or management.
·Work independently with minimal supervision and considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
·Conduct analysis and documentation for the implementation of multiple interrelated projects, including:
·Software applications using Software as a Service (SaaS) or Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions.
·Migrating data from legacy mainframe systems to new platforms.
·Building and integrating Data Warehouse solutions.
·Ensure deliverables and materials meet established processes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and utilizing accepted business analysis methodologies.
·May assign or supervise the work of others, ensuring projects remain on track.
Requirements:
·12 years of strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills in English.
·8 years of experience assessing technological issues to identify root causes and document required data or system corrections.
·8 years of experience developing and maintaining an understanding of key business needs, and assisting in problem-solving.
·8 years of experience facilitating the creation and analysis of business requirements, working with business personnel to design technical solutions.
·8 years of experience participating in and guiding the business in developing and completing user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and implementation-related activities.
·8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
·4 years of experience working with IBM mainframe environments.
