Position: Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: New Jersey
Role Overview:
The Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with the business needs. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, Salesforce developers, and other team members to deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and gather detailed requirements.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements.

Solution Design & Documentation:
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Salesforce configurations and customizations.
- Create user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to ensure clear communication of requirements.
- Work with Salesforce developers and administrators to design and implement solutions.

Project Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of Salesforce projects.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements.
- Document test results and work with developers to resolve any issues.

Training & Support:
- Provide training to end-users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Create training materials and user guides.
- Offer ongoing support to users and troubleshoot any issues related to Salesforce.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and features, and identify opportunities to enhance the system.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party applications and tools that complement Salesforce.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce.
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its capabilities.
- Proficient in business process mapping and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of data migration and integration processes.
- Experience in a specific industry, such as finance, healthcare, or retail, is a plus.
