Our Direct client CareFirst needs BlueCross BlueShield Oracle DBA

Hey Lav, they MIGHT want to convert this person at some point and they want someone in the Eastern Time Zone so ideally they would be in: Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, Florida, New York or New Jersey. And ideally they would NOT be an H1. If you CAN’T find candidates then we can have an H1 and they can be in other states in the EST time zone if you have to.

Must Haves:

Oracle expertise including advanced functions and feature
SQL
Unix Scripting
Ansible

DESCRIPTION:

Oracle database knowledge including advanced functions and features (no GUI point and click only)

SQL Knowledge

PURPOSE:

Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. Maintains database dictionaries and integrates systems through database design. Maintains and documents shell scripts and batch processes. Ensures that documentation is complete and up-to-date. Develops and applies procedures for periodic database backup.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Education Details: Computer Science or IT related field

Experience: 3 years Experience using relational databases Experience retrieving data to perform management and reporting duties.

In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
