The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and oversees the State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial process improvement, and the management of payroll and accounting shared service centers.
Position Overview:
The Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations within the Workday cloud platform, focusing on integrating with third-party vendors and other state agencies. The role requires expertise in Workday HCM, Finance, and Procurement modules and involves a project lifecycle of approximately 2 years.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement robust Workday integration solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration needs and requirements.
- Configure, customize, and implement Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations.
- Stay updated on Workday releases to leverage integration capabilities.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Document integration requirements and maintain adherence to data governance policies.
- Develop integrations using Workday tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and web services.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
