Position Overview:
The State of Indiana’s Office of Technology (IOT) is seeking a skilled Project Manager to assist with the administrative aspects of the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) Planning Committee. This role is critical in ensuring the successful development, coordination, and implementation of cybersecurity projects funded by the SLCGP across Indiana. The selected candidate will work closely with the Indiana SLCGP Planning Committee, the State’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and the Local Government Program (LGP) to manage project timelines, coordinate stakeholder communications, and ensure the effective delivery of grant objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration with Local Government Program (LGP):
- Collaborate with the LGP team to manage the daily work associated with the SLCGP’s development based on input and direction from the Planning Committee, CISO, and CIO.
- Project Coordination and Development:
- Work with the LGP to establish project development plans and timelines, ensuring that all aspects of project development are considered and deliverables are met according to schedule.
- Participate in and document SLCGP Planning Committee meetings and other required meetings to support project development.
- Assist in developing and managing efficient processes to ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the SLCGP’s development.
- Project Management:
- Plan, develop, and refine projects while providing guidance and direction to the team.
- Monitor and manage project progress, set deadlines, and deliver regular reports, charts, and other status documents.
- Identify issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project information thoroughly to all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are set and met.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Develop detailed project plans with timelines based on meetings with the SLCGP Planning Committee, CISO, and CIO.
- Prepare and deliver reports, charts, timelines, and other status documents relating to SLCGP projects and fund distribution.
