Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Netskope Engineer to join our team for a hybrid position based in the Bay Area. The selected candidate will have a hands-on role in implementing Netskope Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions, ensuring secure access to applications, and reinforcing application lockdown procedures. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role with an exciting opportunity to join the team at Ross Stores.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience with Netskope and its implementation for Zero Trust architecture, application security, and overall network protection. This role will focus on deploying, configuring, and optimizing Netskope technologies to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Netskope for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
- Design and execute application lockdown strategies to ensure only authorized access.
- Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to integrate Netskope with existing infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on support for the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Netskope security solutions.
- Evaluate and implement advanced security controls for cloud applications and network traffic.
- Monitor and optimize Netskope policies for user access control, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure web gateway (SWG).
- Assist with the development of security best practices for cloud and on-premise applications using Netskope.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Netskope products and Zero Trust architectures to ensure optimal security measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Netskope implementation experience for ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) – Required.
- Hands-on experience in application security, including application lockdown techniques.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architectures and cloud security solutions.
- Experience in Netskope configuration, including SWG, DLP, and other security features.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security policies, and firewalls.
- Ability to integrate Netskope with cloud platforms and on-premise infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex security issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Netskope certifications or relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in security operations and incident response involving Netskope solutions.
