Our client, a large professional services firm located in Allston, MA, is looking to hire a Level 2 Cisco Wireless Support Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract.  The consultant will be helping to manage customer’s existing wireless solution and provide assistance on upcoming wireless projects.  The consultant will also work with the Managed Service team regarding closing of tickets and providing on-site support to customer’s end users.  The consultant will assist with networking items as needed as well.

Required Skills:
 Must have Bachelor’s degree in a related field – Computer Science, Engineering, IT, etc

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Cisco Wireless role
• Must have CCNA but prefer CCNP
• Extensive experience working with Cisco Wireless products including design, configuration, and management
• Must have experience providing end user support for connectivity issues, troubleshooting, etc
• Prior experience with Cisco networking products; route/switch, firewall, etc
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.), Ability to climb ladders and reach to install equipment, Ability to crawl under or around furniture to install equipment, Sit or stand through a regular workday
• Able to work 35-hour work week
