Job Overview:
We are seeking a .NET Full Stack Tech Lead to join our team for an exciting project with Mizuho. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive software development experience, capable of guiding a team of overseas engineers, while working closely with client stakeholders to deliver top-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of .NET technologies, Angular, and modern web development practices, with strong technical leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of overseas software engineers, providing technical direction and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
· Project Oversight: Oversee technical project plans, timelines, and ensure that all development efforts meet client deadlines.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with onsite client stakeholders from cross-functional departments to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
· Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring that all development efforts adhere to quality standards and best practices.
· Technology Research: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance development capabilities.
· Active Development: Engage in active development tasks (50% effort), including design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
· Requirements Analysis: Analyze customer requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs.
· Technical Documentation: Develop and document technical processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
· Development Leadership: Guide the design, development, and implementation of financial products and custom web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, EF Core, and SQL Server.
· Azure Exposure: Experience with Azure development is a plus.
· UI/UX Development: Lead the design and implementation of robust user interfaces using Angular (13+) and related JavaScript frameworks.
· Front-End Development: Write efficient JavaScript/Typescript code and have strong proficiency with HTML and CSS.
· Development Methodologies: Conduct high- and low-level design, development, testing, and code reviews, ensuring proper implementation and issue resolution.
· Testing & Deployment: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in configuration management and deployment activities.
· UAT/Support: Support UAT and provide ongoing production support as needed.
· Agile SDLC: Work within an Agile SDLC methodology to ensure continuous delivery of quality features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience: 10-15 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years of experience in technical leadership.
· Technology Stack Expertise: Extensive experience with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, SQL Server, Angular 13+, JavaScript, Typescript, and HTML/CSS.
· Azure Exposure: Familiarity with Azure development is a plus.
· UI Development: Strong experience developing custom web applications with excellent user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.
· Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team, guiding them through complex software design and implementation.
· Business Domain Understanding: Experience in Regulatory Reporting applications, Client Onboarding, Legal Entity Onboarding, or Capital Market applications is preferred.
· Agile Development: Solid understanding of Agile development practices and methodologies, including working within Agile SDLC processes.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to break down complex requirements and offer innovative solutions.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
