Title: .Net Architect
Client: The Department of Children and Families, State of FL
Duration: 1+ year
Location: Remote (with occasional onsite meetings)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of application developers and database engineers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and understand both functional and non-functional application requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into architectural designs that align with business objectives.
  • Design the overall system architecture and define interactions between different components.
  • Develop and implement software applications using the .NET framework and languages such as C#, VB.NET, and F#.
  • Utilize ASP.NET (or ASP.NET Core) for web application development, including MVC, Web API, and Blazor for client-side and server-side programming.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Design user interfaces ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and user-friendliness.
  • Review code, architecture, and design to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Analyze and optimize application performance.
  • Develop strategies for efficient scaling as user demand increases.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in developing, architecting, and maintaining APIs, data mappings, and high-volume complex data integration processes.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET Core and API development.
  • 5+ years of experience with DDL, DML T-SQL skills, including advanced stored procedure writing, tables, primary keys, foreign keys, constraints, indexes, transactions, process logging, and error handling.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of developers and engineers.
  • 3+ years of experience with data mapping.
  • 3+ years of experience in API architecture and data integration.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets, including cleaning, transforming, and visualizing data.
  • 3+ years of experience in testing high-volume complex data integration processes.
  • 1+ year of experience with Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft.
  • Familiarity with system catalog views and Azure Cloud.
  • Strong customer support skills with meticulous attention to quality.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (Required).

 

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification (Desired).
  • MS Dynamics Power Platform Certifications (Desired).
