D2D: Client is seeking talented Java Developers to join a leading financial institution across various U.S. locations. This recruitment drive responds to delays in critical projects across multiple engineering teams, necessitating an immediate expansion of the development workforce to ensure timely completion. As a developer within the company, you'll be expected to wear many hats, not only developing code from scratch but also assisting with testing, code reviews, and support. These positions are available in several key offices, including Salt Lake City, Dallas, Toronto, and Jersey City. The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of Java development experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Consultants are expected to work on-site at least 3-4 days a week, embracing a hybrid work model. This initiative begins with a six-month contract, with strong potential for extensions based on performance and project needs. Must Have:
- 3-5 years of strong programming skills in Java with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
- Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (Angular or React)
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems like SQL, DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, especially using Git
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
