DAYS ON SITE REQUIRED:  4 days /week with 1 day remote
Parking available at agency siteImportant to note before submitting: The agency Mgr requires that the selected candidate be available ON SITE (5 days/week) for the first 2 -3 weeks until mgr is comfortable that the contractor is up and running with all internal processes. After that, the regular schedule will be 4 days/week ON SITE, 1 day remote. If they cannot agree to this arrangement, then pls do not submit them.

This is a 6-month Contract to Hire role. Candidate cannot be hired by the agency bf that time period.

Candidate MUST be interested and eligible for full time hire after 6 months (Green card holder or USC only).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This team at VITA manages multiple contracts. Separate NDAs for VITA (around the contracts they support) will apply, if selected.

Individual will be responsible for:  Assisting the TCSM (Telecommunications & Supplier Management Team) with documentation, oversight, and contract and supplier management for the Telecommunications Contracts under our purview.  Individual must have background with:

  • Virginia’s Public Procurement Act (VPPA) – if candidate does not have this prior knowledge, they must be willing to read/understand legislation, get up to speed around this info and determine how it can be appliedto the technology contracts with which they will be working.  Training will be available around VPPA for the selected candidate.

  • Managing Telecommunications Contracts & Suppliers (a solid foundation in this area is required)
  • Evaluating and suggesting contract language and making associated recommendations
  • Assisting with the management of Supplier performance issues,
  • Understanding of how services must work together to meet the end-to-end business needs of the customer,
  • Experience understanding and applying Service Level Agreements, and Reports to manage Supplier performance and adherence to contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use technology to convey issues and oversee work
  • Demonstrated experience developing and documenting processes and using VISIO, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint (or similar tools)
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience working with and influencing stakeholders throughout all levels throughout their organization, supplier’s organizations, and customer’s organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous efforts
  • Experience working with matrixed teamsSelected candidate will work closely with existing staff to understand the needs and operations of the unit and will provide coverage when these individuals are out of the office.  Through training, the individual will learn to act as a subject matter expert for efforts related to the procurement of Telecommunications Contracts (all aspects, wireless, wireline, broadband, and network).

    The selected candidate will learn to assist VITA customers as needed to assist in the procurement of the best services for their needs.  Further, the position will provide input & support for the upkeep of the Telecommunications website, including updates to pricing.  At times the role will require research to ensure extensions, new services, and new contracts are best in class and within expected market parameters.  The individual will assist with the creation and the maintenance of the TCSM team’s documentation and will assist with the physical location management of contracts and distribution to appropriate parties.

The Governor’s Office of Planning & Budget and Georgia Office of Health Strategy & Coordination (OHSC) require support from a consultant with expertise in the management and analysis of databases that collect health insurance claims information from all health care payers into a statewide information repository. OHSC seeks a consultant who will leverage available funding sources, incorporate best practices from previous APCD implementations, and provide a sustainable plan for ongoing operations.
Activities provided by the consultant include stakeholder engagement, identifying regulatory, legal, and legislative considerations and developing proposed solutions, defining ongoing program needs, developing a sustainability plan, developing and revising CMS Advanced Planning Documents, planning and leading APCD Advisory Committee meetings, management of program budget, and managing APCD implementation. The Product Manager will serve as OHSC’s primary point of contact for the APCD.
The APCD includes two modules – Data Collection and Data Analytics. Onpoint Health Data was selected to provide the Data Collection module. This module is currently in use, with a limited scope of remaining effort. The Data Analytics module is also currently in use, with additional certification efforts remaining.
Local candidates are strongly preferred, however, out-of-state candidates that would work 100% remote are welcome to apply.
