Job Description:
Must Have Skills – Data Modeler
Skill 1 – 8 + Years of Exp in Data Modelling
Skill 2 – 5+ Years of Exp in Cloud technologies Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB
Skill 3 – 5 +Years of Exp in Git / Azure DevOps
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know-how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and the IT leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
- Evaluating existing data systems.
- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
- Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
- Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
- Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
- Communicates technical concepts to non-technical audiences both written and verbal.
- Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.
Requirements: Must-Have
- 4+ years’ experience with Data Modeling
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling.
- Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
- Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
- 3+ years’ experience working with Cloud technologies Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB etc.
- 3+ years hands on experience with Git / Azure DevOps
- Able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
- Must have proven ability to follow priorities and timelines.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Azure certification would be an added advantage
