Key skills: Banking experience (Market Risk and VAR calculations for Investment Banking Platforms), Java 17, Cloud development with Azure, Spring Cloud, some Python

Key Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications
– Implement distributed processing solutions using multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration
– Develop cloud-based applications on Azure, with experience in OpenShift being desirable
– Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and create views for relational databases
– Analyze data and perform data transformations using tools like SSIS
– Script automation tasks using Python.

Skills: Required Skills and Experience

– 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
– Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and Microservices using Java 17, Spring Cloud, and Async
– Experience with cloud-based development using Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Monitor
– Knowledge of traded products
– Experience with sensitivity calculations and position valuations
– Proficiency in market risk measures such as VaR and FRTB-SA
– Experience with Databricks is a plus
– Relevant certifications in Java, Azure, or other technologies are a plus

Power BI Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Architect with extensive experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that leverage Power BI’s capabilities, ensuring a seamless transition from Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:
Migration Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI, including data source connections, visualization migration, and testing.

Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient Power BI architectures that meet business requirements.

Data Integration: Establish and manage data connections, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various sources.

Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they meet user requirements and business goals.

Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power BI.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, architecture, and best practices.

Primary (Must have skills)*

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with Tableau and its migration to Power BI.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Expierence Range

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 2 years of experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI.

Secondary Skills (Good To have)*

Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies.

Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.

Experience in managing BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are a plus.
