Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Developer to join our team in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role involves working with a variety of system endpoints, including Mainframe systems (COBOL, CICS, DB2) and Java applications, to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Required Qualifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer certification. Experience in the public sector or similar highly regulated environments. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. Experience with DevOps tools and practices. Key Responsibilities Integration Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB and DataWeave, to connect Mainframe systems and Java-based applications. API Development: Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Data Transformation: Implement data transformation and mapping using DataWeave, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems. System Connectivity: Set up and configure connectors to various endpoints, including Mainframe systems, databases, and third-party APIs. Performance Optimization: Optimize integration solutions for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for integration solutions, addressing issues related to connectivity, data transformation, and system performance. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design artifacts, technical specifications, and user guides. Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and support integration and system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in integration and MuleSoft, recommending improvements and innovative solutions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in integration development using MuleSoft. Technical Skills Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB, API Manager, and DataWeave. Knowledge of Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, CICS, and DB2. Experience with Java programming and understanding of Java-based applications. Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, and API development. Understanding of various integration patterns and best practices. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
