Job Title: GCP Data Migration Engineer
Location: 100% Remote in DFW (Consultant Must be in DFW)
Duration: 6+ Months/Contract
Interview Mode: MS Team
USC/GC Only
Client: CVS Health
MUST BE IN DFW DAY 1 OF EMPLOYMENT
TOP SKILLS:
- 6+ years of Data Engineering or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in GCP
- Must have Data warehousing background- understanding of how structures are built
- Developers that have GCP Data Migration Experience (cloud composer, Big Query, must have strong experience with all GCP tools)
- Experience Moving from Teradata to GCP
- Must have experience with GCP Data migrations (NOT looking for candidates who only did data replication)
- Experience working with source systems to migrate data into proper format into GCP
- Hands-on development experience with Python and SQL
- Must have knowledge of Teradata
- Will be pulling data from claims systems, and other upstream source systems within the company and from vendor
General Comments
Replication is copying the data – we are NOT looking for someone who has only done replication. Must have true data migration is that the data comes directly from the source and gets direct updates from source to GCP. Get data from source, put in logic to put right views in data warehouse. Will be working directly with sources and bring them straight into GCP and that is how the jobs will run
