Job Title: Mainframe DB2 COBOL Developer
Terms: Multi year contract
Pay Rate: $45/hr C2C or 40 w2
Location: Malvern, PA
Work schedule details: hybrid – 3 days a week onsite – must be onsite day 1
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in COBOL development on mainframe systems.
Strong experience with DB2 database development and management.
Solid experience with JCL, VSAM, and other mainframe utilities.
Experience with production support and handling incidents, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing COBOL programs for performance.
Knowledge of batch scheduling tools such as CA7 or Tivoli.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
