The role requires onsite 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs). : This role is hybrid onsite in BOSTON, MA. The client is expecting Tues-Thurs onsite. Non-local candidates must plan to travel in every week and be onsite. T&E reimbursed
Job summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 17 to 20 years of experience in SAP ERP GTS Customs Management, SAP ERP GTS Compliance Management, and SAP GTS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Order to Cash Order Management and Finance & Accounting. This role involves leading complex projects, ensuring seamless integration, and driving innovation to support our company strategic goals.
Job responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving discussions with the customer SMEs, IT, defining Key design decisions, business process flows and finalize design.
• Responsible analyzing and documenting requirements, providing best possible solutions to customer requirements, standardization of the current processes and harmonizing them.
• Design new solution extensions, participate and contribute to the solution roadmap, implementation strategy and help in creating solution documentation.
• Participate in technology integration discussions and contribute towards solving them.
• Accountable for meeting committed deliverables and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Excellent understanding of SAP and S/4HANA best practices and proven experience in implementation of SAP in the Life sciences sector.
• Exposure to compliance requirements-GMP, Export compliance,
• Expertise in setting up and running through solution demos and presentations to customers/business stakeholders
o Experience in implementation of the SAP GTS – Master data synchronization ( BPs, Materials….)Compliance management, Customs management(Export /Import management, customs procedures, FTZ, bonded warehousing, ), Preference management, Embargoes/SPL, Intrastat reporting.
• Experience of working in GTS integrated with ECC as well as with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in Blueprint design and documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills.
• Ability to set, manage and meet expectations with SMEs and stakeholders.
