Role: SAP Ariba P2P ( Procure to Pay)

Location: St. Paul, MN Hybrid

Procurement Process Management:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for indirect goods and services, including requisition creation, purchase order management, goods receipt, and invoice processing within SAP.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement activities and reduce costs.
Manage supplier relationships, including supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.

SAP System Expertise:
Proficiently use SAP modules (e.g., MM, Ariba, MM-P2P) for procurement activities.
Understand SAP configurations and workflows related to procurement.
Troubleshoot SAP system issues and escalate to IT support when necessary.
Participate in SAP system upgrades and implementations.

Indirect Procurement Focus:
Manage indirect spending categories, such as MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), IT services, office supplies, and other non-core goods and services.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories.
Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business users, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless procurement operations.
Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Provide training and support to users on SAP procurement processes.
Other Potential Responsibilities:
Participate in project teams for SAP implementations and upgrades.
Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
Conduct market research and supplier analysis.
Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and goals.

Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
Experience with SAP modules, particularly MM, Ariba, and MM-P2P.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with indirect procurement categories is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Procurement certifications (e.g., CPo, CIPS) are a plus.
