Rate: $50/hr on C2C
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node Developer with expertise in Python, Type Script, CDK (Cloud Development Kit), and Java. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications and services primarily using Node and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them judiciously to our problems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior Node Developer
- Strong proficiency in Node, Python, TypeScript, CDK (Cloud Development Kit), and Java.
- Experience with serverless technologies and AWS (Amazon Web Services) or similar cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
