Role: Mainframe Knowledge with Automation Selenium Consultant

Location: Richardson, TX – Onsite  ( ONLY LOCALS IN TX NO RELOCATION )

Skills: Mainframes ITQA TE Requirement. Must be good at Mainframes and should have Selenium, JAVA experienced.

Job Description:

• 5+ years of experience in Design, Development, Testing, Enhancements and Production Support on Mainframe applications. 
• Expertise in Mainframe components COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Changeman, Endeavor, File-Master, MQ,CICS,TSO,IMS DB/DC, Expeditor ,FTP and IBM Utilities. 
• Responsible to manage the end-to-end quality assurance activities using Tools such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), qTest, SQL Developer. 
• Knowledge in Health care (Claim processing, Financial reporting, provider Billing and Refund processing)
• Experience in Agile SCRUM model driven programs and Jira. 
• Good knowledge on SQL commands. Experience in writing SQL queries using Joins.

• Performed Test management role in coordinating with UAT for E2E testing activities and managing the defect triage calls. 

• Responsible for Analyzing the impact of the new change to various programs involving mainframe components (COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM) and providing testing estimates. 
• Creating defects and tracking them in Jira. Also, participates in project related meetings with team and driving the testing status calls. 
• Understanding the Jira user stories requirements and Creating test plan, test scenarios and test cases in Qtest tool. Responsible for creating test data for test execution. 
• Coordinating with System Analyst to review the test scenarios and test cases and get the defects fixed for retesting. 
• Conducting various meetings for test status, Defect Triage and report the testing progress to project team. 
• Support UAT execution and reviewing the testing results with user for signoff. 
• Weekly status reporting for various projects with the testing status and the blockers.
