Job Summary
  This role will oversee all aspects of business applications, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance across various environments. Responsibilities include maintaining application security, collaborating with end-users and vendors, and working with various integration tools to improve business processes. The role will emphasize delivering exceptional customer service, recognizing its paramount importance to the organization’s success.
 Essential Functions
•  Manage all aspects of business applications including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance in SaaS, cloud and on-premises environments.
•  Maintain user and system security for business applications.
•  Continuously monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
•  Collaborate with end-users to understand business needs and configure business applications to align with our specific needs.
•  Responsible for developing and supporting critical business applications, including bug fixes, patches, enhancements, and process improvements according to the Change Control Policy and SDLC methodology.
•  Responsible for working with vendors of outsourced functions, managed services, maintenance agreements, service agreements, etc.
•  Create, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between applications.
•  Collaborate on projects with end-users, other IT professionals, IT management and key stakeholders.
•  Must have a conceptual understanding of IT key controls, policies and procedures.
•  A willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
•  Assignments can and will change as company and department requirements dictate. Minimal travel required.
Requirements
•  Bachelor’s degree in technology or business equivalent in experience and training in lieu of a degree.
•  5 years IT experience is required.
•  Proficiency in system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security administration.
•  Strong communication and collaboration skills.
•  General understanding of REST and/or SOAP APIs.
•  Experience with database servers (Microsoft or Oracle) is a plus.
•  Experience with Microsoft Power platform is a plus.
•  Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications is a plus.
•  Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus.
Specific Skills
•  Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications in a business environment.
•  Proficient in the fundamental concepts of user and system security management.
•  Familiarity with business applications such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.
•  Working understanding of REST or SOAP APIs and their application in integrating with cloud-based systems.
•  Use Structured Query Language (SQL) to review and extract data in relational databases.
•  Create, Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between applications.
•  Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently, including analyzing logs, diagnosing errors, and implementing solutions.
•  Ability to optimize system performance by monitoring resource utilization, identifying bottlenecks, and making necessary adjustments.
•  Managing system patches and updates to ensure business applications remain secure and up to date.
•  Effectively managing changes and updates to the business applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
•  Familiarity with project management methodologies to participate in projects, such as system implementations or enhancements.
•  Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
•  Staying up to date with application updates, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing learning and certification.
•  In some cases, senior administrators may be responsible for leading and mentoring junior team members.
•  The ability to adapt to evolving technology and business requirements, as the ERP landscape is continually changing.
