Job Title: Healthcare Business Analyst
Location : Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Rate: $50/hr. On C2C
Visa: H1, H4, USC, GCEAD
Overview: As a Healthcare Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare data and business objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing healthcare data, identifying trends, and providing insights that contribute to strategic decision-making and operational improvements within the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from various sources such as electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, patient surveys, and operational metrics.
- Develop quantitative models and perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in healthcare data.
- Translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Business Process Analysis:
- Evaluate current healthcare business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend solutions that optimize operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process improvements.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Maintain documentation of business requirements, project plans, and data analysis methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, IT professionals, administrators, and executives to understand their needs and priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure that data analysis and business solutions comply with regulatory requirements and contribute to overall quality improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization based on data-driven insights.
- Propose and implement strategies to enhance healthcare delivery, patient care, and organizational performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP) may be preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in the healthcare industry, with a solid understanding of healthcare operations and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (EHRs, EMRs, Practice Management Systems).
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, ICD, CPT).
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle management.
