JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Public Safety Information and Technology Division requires the services of a Applications/Software Development Business Analyst to provide support for current Java application development and coding. This will assist in development efficiency and support resource planning.  

Support current Licensing Services projects and priorities for facilitation of gathering Themes/epic/user stories/acceptance criteria (Agile Artifacts) and decomposition of existing requirements documents. Directly support/educate on creation of Agile artifacts and facilitation of development teams in executing acceptance criteria. Facilitate development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model.

Scrum certified as a CSM, PO or ACP
Experience in working through a culture change
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in systems analysis and design work.
Ability to analyze systems and procedures, to write and revise standards and procedures, and to communicate effectively.
Skill in solving problems; scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and troubleshooting computer systemS
Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, the techniques used in the design of non-automated systems, information technology equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, computer operating systems
Experience preparing charts, diagrams, tables, and flowcharts to assist in problem analysis and submitting recommendations for solut
Experience working in an IT technical operations or development environment with the creation and management of highly detailed actions, tasks, and schedules
