We are looking for business analysts to help define and create the strategic approach for the modernization path of our suite of Rewards core products and tech applications. This will help the rewards team in defining how we unlock new features as we build new customer centric Rewards journeys.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who is highly motivated and has the ability to operate within a highly matrixed organization, effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally across Product, Design, Data and Technology teams to drive business results. They will support the Chase Rewards application modernization initiatives from a product and program management perspective. This project includes documenting existing Rewards business flow processes, logic and data flows of existing applications in mainframe and other rewards core system. This documentation will inform modernization strategy of the Rewards applications and will be used to build a backlog an requirements to feed our development teams as they modernize Reward’s current tech stack. The Project will be focused on documenting existing earnings engine and points bank functionality living in the card mainframe systems. It will also include creating documentation of the downstream impacts on existing operational processes that depend on Rewards Core Data, included by not limited to business controls, operational reporting and data used for finance/analytics purposes. These resources will also help manage the technical backlog of the team working of rewards card functions.  This work will ultimately inform and help drive the modernization strategy of our rewards core platform services.

The Chase Rewards team is responsible for delivering loyalty user experiences that enable our customers to earn and redeem their Ultimate Rewards points. The Rewards Core Product team is responsible for developing the overall strategic vision of Rewards products to make our products better, smarter, and more personalized by leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs, data intelligence, and how to create excellence at scale.

Skillset:

  • Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies. Experience with Chase is a plus
  • Experience and high level proficiency with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint), JIRA, Confluence Tools
  • Process Modeling. Experience with developing and documenting business process models to illustrate current and future states. Ability to create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Ability to propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives. Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
  • Experience with collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. Detail oriented mindset.
  • Documentation. Experience with creating detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Experience and familiarity with creating power points presentations with powerful story telling capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions, take risks, course-correct, and constantly iterate on your approach after analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners up and down the chain with the ability to influence and motivate
  • Quality mindset. Experience with participating in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions. Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
  • Experience with program management and with developing and manage integrated plans, working effectively at all levels and providing progress communications to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities.
