Job Description:
This Software Engineer role supports the Nationwide Financial, building products/enhancements (feed processing) for firms, broker-dealers and internal BSAs on a high-performing, highly collaborative team. These critical applications are also responsible for among other things, the timely delivery of nightly unit values supporting NF contracts to the market, as well as contract level data to our firms.
An agile mindset focused on DevSecOps, continuous learning, experimentation and digital automation are required.
An understanding of the NF business model is helpful.
There are many opportunities to broaden your knowledge in newer technology as this team values innovation.
The team currently leverages technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Cloud Native, Harness, Helm, Python and Java.
The successful candidate will have a learning mindset, value team collaboration and a customer focus to respond to production related occurrences supporting our internal and external partners. This role is not expected to have experience in the tech stack but should have solid Java experience.
