·         We are seeking a highly experienced Architect/Data Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team.

·         This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture and the ability to design and implement robust data solutions.

·         The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Hadoop and Amazon Redshift.

·         Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.

·         Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·         Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

·         Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance system performance and reliability.

·         Conduct regular performance tuning and troubleshooting to address any issues in the data architecture.

·         Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and best practices.

·         Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.

·         Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·         Implement data governance policies to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

·         Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage data-related projects effectively.

·         Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets.

Qualifications:

·         Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in data architecture and related fields.

·         Demonstrate extensive experience with Hadoop and Amazon Redshift.

·         Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.

·         Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

·         Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions.

·         Display a deep understanding of data security and compliance requirements.

·         Show proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of data systems.

·         Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

·         Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture.

·         Possess strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records of data processes.

·         Exhibit experience in implementing data governance policies.

·         Have a background in utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
