SCOPE OF SERVICES:
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has a need for a Solution Architect to provide guidance to the implementation team to promote the use of standard Application functionality in an effort to avoid overly complex customization and later redesign. In addition, the candidate will execute the following tasks.

- Participate in review of Project deliverables with a focus on functional and technical requirements and design.
- Identify design options for out-of-the box functionality rather than customization to satisfy key requirements.
- Provide recommendations on alternative approaches, where applicable.
- Perform a design review of documents and provide feedback and guidance on the proposed design approach.
- Provide input and feedback on the implementation plan and sequence of events in the project plan.
- Provide deployment strategy consultation.
- Serve as liaison with the Product Management team regarding key topics that will require feedback and / or validation.
- Participate in onboarding to review and validate project documentation including current state architecture, design specifications, business requirements, process flows and other supporting materials.
- Provide recommendations regarding future development, including areas of concern with functional and application design.
- Participate in design and working data model sessions, providing input to the development of functional and technical design documentation.
- Identify common approaches for UI integration between the Application and other platforms.
- Review and validate proposed approach, as defined by Customer, for addressing requirements included in currently anticipated scope.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: –

- At least 5 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects.
- Have one of these credentials – Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Or Salesforce Certified Solution Architects.
- Expertise in both coding and low-code/no-code solutions, with the ability to discern when to build vs. configure.
- Code fluency combined with strategic understanding of when to code and when to leverage available functionalities.
- Having expertise in the declarative (clicks not code)
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other technologies and vice versa,
- Experience with governance and development operations
- Ability to blend their technical expertise and business acumen to empower business and IT to work together towards a stronger future.
- Translate business needs to a technical vision that teams of low code or pro code builders can execute.
- Build proofs-of-concept (POCs) that teams can further iterate on.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results,
- Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence
- Skilled in designing strategic solutions and executing tactical plans to achieve goals effectively.
- Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: –

- Administrator
- Sales Cloud Consultant
- Service Cloud Consultant
- Platform App Builder
- Experience in designing Systems Architecture on any cloud platform.
