A senior (10+ Years) AWS & Azure Architect or VERY SENIOR Engineer for a Multi-year contract, onsite 5 days a week in Boca Raton. This Candidate must have extensive experience in AWS & Azure Cloud Migrations. Deploy and maintain PaaS & SaaS enterprise application for development, QA, staging,
and production environments hosted on cloud infrastructure. Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville are not commutable and require relocation.
The client will consider relocation (preferably within Florida) but candidates must start onsite day one. **Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local.

General Responsibilities:
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) is looking to engage an experienced, professional,
Azure/AWS Cloud Architect to assist FTE and guide us throughout the design, setup,
implementation, and performance monitoring of Cloud Migration Programs. Responsible for
providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise’s overall
systems cloud architecture. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and
guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting, documenting,
and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems,
and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises, and designs standard software and
hardware builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on the enterprise
business process and goals.
Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to
technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance
process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry
trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise’s Cloud
Architecture needs.
Responsible for providing technical expertise in deploying applications on Microsoft Azure &
AWS. The Azure/AWS Cloud Administrator. An ideal candidate will.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Implement, setup, configure, monitor, and maintain various Cloud solutions, SaaS Cloud
Services, and resources, including major services related to applications, storage,
networking, subscriptions, security, and high availability disaster recovery, such as:
o Azure/AWS Application Services
o Azure/AWS access control
o Azure/AWS Cost Management
o Azure/AWS Performance Management.
o Azure/AWS Application Gateways
o Azure/AWS Testing & Backup
o Azure/AWS Infrastructure & Design
o Azure/AWS virtual networks

? Deploy the Custom-Developed Applications and continuously monitor their health.
? Forecast and manage the demand for the applications that are hosted on the Azure/AWS
platform.
? Ensure that Data is secured, access is secured, costs are monitored and controlled, and the
applications and data are backed up.
? Deploy and maintain PaaS & SaaS enterprise application for development, QA, staging,
and production environments hosted on cloud infrastructure.
? Understanding of a multitude of resources and services such as containers, virtual
machines, storage, firewalls, network security groups, web application firewalls, vnets, log
analytics, sentinel, monitoring, alerting, metrics, Data Factory, Databricks, Active
Directory, Data Catalog, Web Apps, Functions, Application Service Environments, Key
Vaults, Backups.
? Manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines.
? Strong Understanding of Virtual Networks & DNS zones.
? Develop a library of scripts to automate cloud environments.
? Identify and generate solutions to current problems in the organization.
? Aid developers and DevOps teams with implementing automation scripts that follow
the organization standards.
? Collaborating with DevOps team members as well as all of engineering
? Ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability,
maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
? Partner with development team to fully understand product requirements and
configure the Cloud environments which meet these requirements.
? Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure
environments. Create custom scripts to automate support processes where
applicable.
? Manage AD infrastructure and collaborate with various teams to ensure it integrates
seamlessly with all components including network, security, messaging, and remote
access.
? Troubleshoot and resolve Azure/AWS environment performance issues, connectivity issues,
security issues.
? Research, adopt and relate new technologies to solve issues that arise while
adhering to company security and standards.
? Knowledge of networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols (TCP/IP)
and cryptographic protocols.
? Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks is
required for success at this position.
? Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud Active Directory.
? Azure/AWS Tenant Build Outs experience.
? Solid scripting skills are required for success at this position.
? Experience in working with formal Change Control Systems following the ITIL framework.
? Assist with backup and restoration of files, databases, and virtual machines.
? Mentor, coach, and share knowledge with other team members throughout the
organization.

Essential Technical Experience and Education
Technical:
o 7+ years’ experience in MS Azure/AWS cloud architecture
o Experience and understanding of the main Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
o Must be self-motivated and apply knowledge of Azure & AWS to drive solutions,
support the development team, and create documentation to support and describe
technical solutions.
o Must have deep technical Azure/AWS platform expertise and demonstrate high
standards of accountability, customer focus, and quality.
Education:
o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other
related field (Or equivalent work experience)
Certifications (required):
o Microsoft Azure/AWS Administrator
o Microsoft Azure/AWS Architect Technologies
Certificates (preferred):
o MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure)
o MCSD (Solutions Architect)
