Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S4/Hana Data Architect to join their MDM team. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP data objects and a proven track record in driving data design and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta and be able to work in the office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Design & Configuration: Lead and drive data design initiatives for SAP S4/Hana, with a strong focus on SAP FI, PP, MM, and SD data objects. Configure data objects, including the creation of new partner functions.
- Documentation: Produce comprehensive and clear documentation for data objects, design specifications, and processes.
- Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers to build and enhance data load programs using data services, ensuring alignment with overall data architecture.
- Data Extraction: Collaborate with the data extraction team to execute and optimize SQL queries through Snowflake, ensuring effective data extraction and integration.
- Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for data architecture discussions, clearly communicating technical concepts and design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Driven: Demonstrate the ability to independently take ownership of tasks and projects, requiring minimal onboarding or training.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP data architecture, with extensive knowledge of SAP FI, PP, MM, and SD data objects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in configuring SAP data objects and driving data design. Skilled in working with data services and SQL queries, particularly in Snowflake.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with perfect English proficiency, capable of conveying complex technical information effectively.
- Documentation: Proven ability to produce clear, detailed documentation for data design and architecture.
- Collaboration: Experience working with developers and data extraction teams to build and enhance data load programs.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently, quickly adapting to new environments and tasks with minimal supervision.

- Location Requirement: Must be local to Atlanta, GA and available to work in the office three days a week.
