Location: Remote (This role can sit remote in the US, with a preference to those in EST or CST time zone)
 
Must have excellent communication skills
 
This is not an Instructional Designer role.  They should lead a Leadership Development Program or have 10 years within one.  Need someone from medium to large sized company.  Not a start up or no name company if that makes sense.  Doesn’t have to be insurance, but obviously insurance always a big plus.
 
 
 Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a skilled Leadership Development Senior Consultant to join our team.
  • In this role, you will redesign existing leadership programs for mid-level and senior leaders and develop a new program focused on next-level leadership.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leadership development, with a strong emphasis on designing both in-person and virtual learning experiences and integrating technologies that complement.

Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Redesign:
  • Evaluate and enhance current leadership development programs for mid-level and senior leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define program goals, learning outcomes, and success metrics.
  • Next- Level Leadership Program Development:
  • Design and implement a tailored leadership program aimed at empowering next-level and diverse leaders within the organization.
  • Incorporate best practices and innovative approaches to foster an inclusive environment, addressing the unique challenges faced by next-level and diverse leaders.

Learning Experience Design:

o Create engaging and interactive learning experiences using a blend of in-person and virtual formats.

o Leverage modern instructional design methodologies to cater to diverse learning preferences and enhance knowledge retention.

• Facilitation and Delivery:

o Lead workshops and training sessions, employing effective facilitation techniques to engage participants and encourage active learning.

o Gather and incorporate participant feedback to continuously improve program content and delivery methods.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Partner with HR and other departments to ensure alignment of leadership development initiatives with broader organizational strategies.

o Act as a consultant to senior leadership on trends and challenges in leadership development initiatives.

• Evaluation and Reporting:

o Develop metrics to assess program effectiveness and impact on leadership capabilities within the organization.

o Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership development, training design, and program management.

o Proven success in redesigning and implementing leadership programs for mid-level and senior leaders.

o Experience developing programs focused on diversity and inclusion is highly desirable.

o Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.

 

• Skills:

o Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective instructional design methodologies.

o Proficient in designing virtual learning experiences using platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, or other online tools.

o Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

o Knowledge and experience with learning technologies and trends.

o Strong analytical abilities to leverage data for program development and improvement.

• Passionate about leadership development and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Innovative thinker who can adapt programs to meet the evolving needs of leaders.

• Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
