Job Title: Lead Python Full Stack  Developer

Location: McLean, VA Hybrid – Tuesday through Thursday – 

Duration: 6 months

Assignment Type: C2C

 

Role and responsibility:

• Minimum of 10+ years of development experience

• Interact with a finance team and Peoplesoft implementation team to collect the detailed requirements

• Design, develop, and support software solutions for the given requirements

• Ensure new code and existing code updates meet standard technology development practices

• Must meet automated testing requirements

• Work with finance team and other developers to facilitate the reconciliation

• Help customers to understand the result and to properly use the application

• Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of application

 

Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and

• Demonstrated knowledge of (Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience)

– Python development

– Pandas, NumPy and other popular Python libraries

– Testing frameworks including PyTest

– SQL

– Experience with Linux OS is a must

– Containerization experience using Docker is a must

– SDLC, CI/CD Processes

– Must have experience using git for basic commands

– UI Development experience with Angular or React is a must, but prior experience with Solara would be ideal

Familiarity with:

– Jira

– Java (must have a basic understanding)

– Excel

– IDEs such as intelliJ

– Various financial instruments (Optional)
