Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Python Data Engnieer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SQL/database, ETL tools, and cloud experience preferably with AWS. The Data Analyst will provide analytical, operational, and strategic support to the client, analyze the client’s business needs and provide recommendations.
Responsibilities:
– Provide analytical, operational and strategic support to the client.
– Analyze the client’s business needs and provide recommendations.
– Map the business requirements to the application.
– Design application database: structure, content, and processes of data population.
– Validate the solution with the end users.
– Design the reports and extraction: SQL statement, layout formatting, and report publication.
– Apply relevant methodology and tools, the elaboration and implementation of work plans, project and program documents.
– Ensure proper reporting on implementation and achievement of outputs, contribute to reporting on progress towards outcomes.
Technical knowledge:
– Expert SQL/database knowledge.
– Experience with ETL tools.
– Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
– Python experience, including relevant libraries such as PySpark and Pandas.
Functional knowledge:
– Basic knowledge of financial products, previous experience on capital markets is a plus.
Vocational competencies:
– Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
– Autonomy and adaptability.
Nice to have:
– Postgres experience.
