 They want very senior Level and Lead experience.

 

The required skills are:

  • 7+ yrs data engineering experience
  • Experience leading a team of data engineers
  • Proven ability to architect & deploy scalable solutions
  • Strong Python
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience
  • Strong AWS experience and Terraform
  • Deep knowledge of big data frameworks like Spark and Presto
  • Expertise in Lakehouse architectures, Delta/Parquet file formats, Hive Metastore Solutions, and ETL processes (using Airflow and Databricks)
  • 10/10 communication skills as they will be working across various teams in the business

Preferred Skills:

  • Payments industry experience preferred
  • Kafka
  • AWS certification
