Job Description
- 8 plus years of relevant experience
- 4 plus years of experience in Software Testing and Automation Testing on Web/API
- 2 Plus years of experience as Test Lead/Manager
- Experience in Telecom Billing domain
- Expert in automation testing framework development
- Good Knowledge on Java programming language
- Good understanding of Test methodologies.
- Able to support Billing and API integration testing
- Able to lead the team in terms of prioritization , assignment , reports.
- Ex Comcast experience will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with project customers to identify product and technical requirements
- Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
- Work with the QA team in developing a QA testing strategy for the project, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, functional/performance/load, and so on).
- Create test plans, identify testing scenarios, test cases, test data, and report defects
- Identify and define quality improvement factors
- Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the product and applications
- Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests
- Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
- Coordinate with the Offshore team and other technical team members
- Prepare QA certificates and support release activities
- Report status and QE matrices with the client stakeholders and UST leadership
- Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
- Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
- Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
