Title: Junior Data Analyst(BA Tester)
Duration: 1 Year
Work Location: Linthicum Heights, MD ( Only Local candidate)
Requirements: Candidates must be local to the DMV area. Please provide the candidate’s resume, driver’s license, degree certificate(s), visa, and any relevant professional certifications.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in data science or computer science, including data management, data cleaning, statistical analysis, data visualization, and report writing.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science is preferred. The degree should have been obtained within the last three years.
- Data Analysis Certifications in programming languages or related areas can be considered as work experience, if applicable. Graduate education years can be counted as valid work experience.
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with executives and business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
- Work with team members to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Utilize graphs, infographics, and other visual tools to present data.
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
- Organize and structure large datasets to extract usable information.
- Collaborate with analysts and other team members to process information.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate recommendations and findings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication and report-writing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in designing methods and strategies for data capture, storage, and management.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as SAS, STATA, RStudio, Python, Java, C, C++, and Jupyter.
- Experience working in computing cluster environments.
- Solid knowledge of office processes and related computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, web-based applications) and electronic communication tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
