Job Description.
(We are looking for AWS expert who has database migration experience Strong experience in Postgres and Aurora)
- AWS DB Engineer :
- Experience: 10+ Years
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Fair understanding of RDS engine and its features.
- Fair understanding of PostgreSQL/Aurora Database engine and its features.
- Prior experience on RDS Migration.
- Installing the SCT tool and generating the required reports for analysis
- Working with the SCT tool to migrate the schemas to Aurora.
- Manually migrate the schemas which are not supported by the SCT tool.
- Experience in configuring the AWS DMS tool to migrate the data between databases.
- Working with the application team to rewrite the Stored Procedures
- Working with AWS RDS Service.
- Setting up monitoring of the RDS database using CloudWatch.
- Experience in configuring backup of the RDS database
