Job Description.:-

SAP RTR (Record to Report) Consultant with Hyperion Exp.

Location: Iselin, NJ – Onsite from Day 1

Position: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP RTR (Record to Report) processes (General Ledger, Accounts Closing, Asset Accounting, Cost/Profit Centers, etc.)
• Integrate SAP FICO modules with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and/or Hyperion Planning for financial consolidation and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Design and support financial close processes, including automation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation adjustments.
• Develop and manage interfaces between SAP and Hyperion (e.g., via FDMEE, flat files, or middleware).
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities from both SAP and Hyperion perspectives.
• Create and maintain documentation (functional specs, configuration documents, test cases, user training material).
• Coordinate testing, data validation, and user acceptance processes across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across SAP and Hyperion platforms.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, SOX, and audit standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO/RTR module.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion tools (HFM, Planning, Essbase, FDMEE).
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and close processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP to Hyperion data integration.
• Working knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience in global rollout projects and working with offshore teams is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Certification in SAP FICO or Oracle Hyperion.
• Familiarity with tools such as BPC, SAC, Smart View, or other EPM/BI tools.
• Background in working with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
