Job Description

The Project involves creating WinForms based applications in a C#.Net Environment. This specific project is using both a web portal and a traditional desktop application. A state agency will log into the web portal and submitOpen XML documents to us that we then will work on in our desktop application.This will involve knowledge of all aspects of Web .Net MVC as well as standardWinForms programming. We have a SQL server backend and are an Object-OrientedProgramming shop. Knowledge of word development would be a benefit because of the Open XML component of the project

 •Strong C# development skills and experience with the Microsoft.NET platform andVisual Studio

•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases, T-SQL queries, and stored procedures.

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles to take an application from initial design all the way to production.

•Knowledge of various computer systems, technologies, and programming languages.

•Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to achieve project deadlines.

•Ability to understand and code to Object Oriented Design principles.

•Ability to address technical issues in both technical and non-technical terms.

• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and determine the best solution.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university OR completion of technical training in computer science, data processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military, or industrial setting, with Two (2) years of experience in application development.
