Job Description.:-

Java Technical Architect – WebLogic /Tomcat with PCF Exp.

Location: Chicago, IL – Everyday Onsite + F2F Interview

Position: Long Term

Exp.: 12+ Yrs.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced J2EE Architect with strong expertise in WebLogic and Tomcat application servers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable Java-based enterprise applications and a solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure J2EE-based applications.
• Lead the deployment and configuration of applications on WebLogic and Tomcat servers.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and performance.
• Provide guidance on cloud migration strategies and application modernization.
• Leverage PCF for cloud-native app deployments and manage lifecycle operations.
• Define best practices and standards for Java application development and integration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize application behavior.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE architecture and development.
• Strong experience with WebLogic and Tomcat servers (installation, tuning, and configuration).
• Experience in designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a preference for PCF experience.
• Knowledge of application security, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware integration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and 12-factor app design principles.
