We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. The ideal individual will be highly motivated, self-directed and have a desire to work on the cutting-edge multi-cloud networking software platform. You must possess excellent analytical and communication skills and have a passion for operationalizing cloud networking technology.
As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be a part of the network operations and/or project implementation environment. This position is a critical organization as a part of our adoption of Aviatrix's enterprise multi-cloud Networking and Security Services Software.
You'll guide the team for quick and consistent adoption, accelerated integrations with Aviatrix multi-cloud software products, and real-time support and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient, scalable operational procedures for managing and operating Aviatrix multi cloud network infrastructure.
- Deployment & documentation of best practices & identify risks in the environment.
- Assist in the ongoing definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the network and services.
- Assist and own Aviatrix design, implementation and oversee the project success.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate potential issues to business.
- Create knowledge-based content such as troubleshooting tips and best practices.
- Promote regular and consistent communications between internal groups, including Solutions Engineering, Support, Engineering and Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cloud networking and automation
- Experience with IaC tools to automate is required (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation)
- Solid understanding of networking (IPSec / NAT / BGP) and software defined networking
- Experience with two or more of the cloud platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience in configuring, testing and troubleshooting networking and security solutions
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Engineer or AWS Networking certification mandatory.
- Prior experience using Aviatrix platform to orchestrate cloud environments is preferred.
