Job Description: We are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist with expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will work on predictive modeling, data mining, and natural language processing projects, leveraging their knowledge in data analysis and visualization using Azure Machine Learning and other Azure tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and extract insights using Azure Machine Learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop solutions using Azure data science technologies.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization to communicate findings to stakeholders using Power BI and other Azure tools.
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and improve model performance using Azure Machine Learning.
• Develop and maintain predictive models to support decision-making processes using Azure Machine Learning.
• Work with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments using Azure technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and research in machine learning and data science, particularly with a focus on Azure technologies.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices for using Azure and other data science tools.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, and neural networks.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL, and familiarity with Azure data science technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely using Power BI.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in the industry domain or with Azure Machine Learning and other Azure technologies is a plus.
