Job title- Data enginer
Location-New Jersey ,Sunnyvale  California or Bentonville, AR (Remote) must be local.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Spark and Scala, proficient in SQL, ETL processes, and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring the efficient processing and storage of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala.
• Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Write complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyze data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of data processing systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data pipelines and workflows.
• Manage and optimize data storage on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Scala programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Experience with ETL tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
