Interview mode: 1st round Skype, 2nd round in-person
Duration: 12+ months
Objective:
This role is focused on providing support for data engineering and analysis efforts within the Integrated Justice System and Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Modernization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop relational data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models
- Map user interfaces to database fields to support development teams.
- Develop and design reports and dashboards and assist in their transition to production.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive recommendations.
- Document processes, including knowledge capture and creation of diagrams.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement workarounds or fixes as needed.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, both with peers and occasionally with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Tools:
- 3+ years of experience with Relational
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
- 5+ years of experience working with Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service.
- Strong understanding of CJIS, public safety, and justice systems, along with associated datasets.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering), or equivalent work experience.
Contract Term:
12 months w/ option to extend
